Standard Ethernet to Automotive Ethernet

The AE-100 bridges standard 100BASE-T Ethernet and 100BASE-T1 Automotive Ethernet (OPEN Alliance BroadR-Reach compatible), allowing compatible Ethernet devices to communicate directly with Automotive Ethernet networks. Its transparent 100 Mbps pass-through design requires no software configuration, making it easy to integrate into existing development and validation environments.

Built for Vehicle Development

Commercial Ethernet adapters aren't designed for harsh vehicle environments. The AE-100 is engineered specifically for automotive development, combining wide operating temperatures, automotive-grade power support, and a rugged enclosure for dependable operation in the lab and on the road.

Automotive Environment

Operates from -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F) for hot- and cold-weather testing

Simplified Installation

Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 6 to 36 VDC automotive power to reduce wiring complexity

The rugged nylon enclosure and included mounting bracket make the AE-100 equally suited for prototype vehicles, validation programs, and laboratory test benches.

Fast Setup, Reliable Communication

The AE-100 is designed to get engineers communicating with Automotive Ethernet networks quickly. As a simple pass-through device, it works with compatible 100 Mbps Ethernet devices without software configuration. A dedicated Master/Slave mode switch eliminates auto-negotiation startup delays, providing faster and more predictable network initialization during development and validation testing. It can also be powered through Power over Ethernet from compatible devices, such as the ATI NS-1 Network Switch, simplifying installation where PoE is available.
