Dual High-Speed CAN FD Channels for EMX/EDAQ Integration
The VNH2 includes two dedicated CAN FD channels capable of up to 8 Mbps, designed specifically to interface with ATI’s EMX 2.0 and legacy EMX/EDAQ modules. This ensures high-speed, reliable communication with ATI data acquisition systems, enabling faster and more efficient data throughput compared to the previous VNH1.
Versatile Connectivity with Generic CAN Devices
In addition to ATI module support, the VNH2 provides two more CAN FD/Classic CAN channels via an industry-standard DB-9 connector. These channels are ideal for connecting third-party CAN devices, similar to ATI’s CANary FD, broadening the unit’s compatibility and application flexibility.
Advanced Electrical and Diagnostic Features
Each of the four CAN channels includes galvanic isolation, physical termination switches, and LED status indicators. These features improve signal integrity, allow flexible network configurations, and provide immediate visual diagnostics, aiding in quick troubleshooting and safe operation.
Improved Hardware Design and USB 2.0 Interface
The VNH2 sports a modernized hardware platform that includes an auto-resetting current limiting circuit for enhanced power protection. It connects to the host PC via a USB 2.0 interface at 480 Mbps, ensuring a fast and reliable data link for real-time applications.
